Ole Hagen is a London-based artist originally from Norway, working in mixed media. His art seems to derive from a classic sense of horror, although the anxieties emerge in futuristic visions of glossy surfaces and uncertainty. It’s an artificial world, an ugly world, but Hagen’s work overlaps this horror with humor, often through primitive constructions and monotone voices.
