Teenage boxers, before and after their first fight

In 2003, Nicolai Howalt took 78 double portraits of teenage boys before and after their first boxing match. Many of the after-fight shots featured bloodied faces and disheveled hair, but quite a number of boys among the lot emerged looking like they didn’t even have a fight. If it’s not beginner’s luck, they must be that good.
