The harsh line weight and graphic style of comic books and superheroes, mainly Marvel Comics, is what got my brain to start working with my hand and drawing from my first time through the rest of my life. As I hit puberty, like many kids, I became more angsty, emotionally volatile, and increasingly risk taking.

During this time, I abandoned the style which had been the grounds for my hobby ever since I remembered. After years of trying different styles, I decided to return to the illustration style that got me started. Black and white. Minimal colour. Bold graphics. This body of work is a re-visting of my childhood, now deluded with the sad realness of lost idealism and a struggling global economy and political system.
