If you’re like me and hate the feeling of being weighed down by bulky headphones, but love the premium listening experience they typically provide, I’ve found the perfect solution. Logitech Ultimate Ears 4000 headphones. They’re economic, compact and durable. You know that’s the ultimate triple threat, right?

With seven decibels of noise-isolation, the Logitech Ultimate Ears 4000 perform exceptionally well at home or out and about. The headphones have a flexible, hardy replaceable cord that has useful on-cord controls and microphone too. This is great for straight listening but we’ve used them for phone conversations as well, so having them plugged straight into your phone and then needing to take them out to talk isn’t a worry, and the mic quality is pretty good for long calls.

The two-way splitter is nice to have as an option as well – we’ve used them for conference calls and on long rides for listening to the same song.

The headphones fit comfortably and don’t make your head sweat, and there’s none of that fatigue you can sometimes get from other poorer quality devices. They feel sturdy and robust and come with a carry pouch to keep them safe when you aren’t wearing them and three colour choices (black, white and purple). Oh, and the sound the 4000’s provide is exceptional. Want proof?

Here are some tunes to best appreciate the headphones with
1. Lorde – The Love Club
2. Metz – Get Off
3. Rampue – Herbstlaub
4. Cat Power – Werewolf
5. The Cinematic Orchestra – Exit Music (For A Film)
