Original Star Wars story line mashed up with Shakespeare

Ian Doescher delivers the latest quirky take on the original Star Wars Episode IV. Put simply, William Shakespeare’s Star Wars is a mash up of the original Star Wars story line and the writing style of the famous English playwright. Staying true to his inspiration, Doescher recreates our favourite sci-fi journey in full iambic pentameter, with lines such as C-3PO ‘Pray, R2-D2, where art thou?’ R2-D2 —Beep, meep.

There hasn’t been much talk on the full trilogy, so we’ll just have to hang in for such possible titles as The Empire Striketh Back and The Jedi Doth Return.
