Jelly sounds good to me after watching this video about French product and interaction designer, Raphaël Pluvnage. His method of tackling two mediums – electricity and food – that usually aren’t combined is truly innovative. By molding jelly in various colours and shapes, the final jelly molds produce funny sounds and noises as soon as they get connected to a board that is linked to a computer.

You can touch and run your fingers over the jelly and they will create various different types of “music”. This whole jelly kit should be a mandatory part of chemistry classes in school, to make this normally dry topic fun. Finally.
