Musicians make the oddest backstage demands

Harry Hargreaves‘ recent photography series revolves around the strange backstage requests made by some of the world’s biggest music names. Just so you know, Marilyn Manson really likes gummy bears, while Prince likes coffee and tea with honey, lemon, sugar, cream, fresh ginger root… plus a physician at hand for vitamin B12 jabs.

Then there’s Nine Inch Nails, who just want two boxes of corn starch backstage. Who knows what for? Perhaps Trent Reznor and co are just really into arts and crafts.

The Foo Fighters request kielbasa
Marilyn Manson requests Gummi Bears
Nine Inch Nails request two bags of cornstarch
Prince requests coffee, tea, and a B-12 injection
Van Halen requests herring in sour cream, KY jelly, and M&Ms (no brown ones)
