Oh, we people are a paradoxical bunch. We’ll fret about sun damage one moment, then whine about pasty skin in the next. The London Sunbathing Society existed in the 1920s, and this picture shows their members galavanting about in the outdoors — clothed, unlike how we think about most sunbathing societies today.
