Pictorial Grammar: an art series by Matt Arbuckle

Movement is the centerpiece of Berlin-based Matt Arbuckle’s latest series, Pictorial Grammar. Aside from its challenging visual boundaries, the collection features a palette of blues which he mixed up while reminiscing about the Resene pots from his childhood growing up in New Zealand.

These paintings seemed at home both on display at his latest exhibition in the Holborn Building, London, and left to air in the great outdoors. You might catch him landloping the outskirts of Kreuzberg for an abandoned airport to blush in his spare time.
