Curious polar bears approach cruise ship

Adventure travel operator G Adventures had a recent run-in with curious polar bears when its MS Expedition cruise ship made its way to the Norwegian islands of Svalbard between Norway and the North Pole in the Arctic Ocean. Gregers Fogt, who was on board the cruise, captured this arresting eye-witness video footage of polar bears standing on their hind legs, checking out the cruise vessel and pawing at it. It’s pretty cool. If polar bears were cats, they would have climbed their way on board the cruise and there would be no keeping them out. Good thing polar bears aren’t cats.
