On a very cold and rainy Melbourne afternoon, after getting caught in the drizzle, I was hanging for a nice strong coffee and toasty warm bagel, so I pulled out my trusty iPhone and found the perfect place: Manchester Press.

The converted industrial space is tucked away in Rankins Lane (like any good Melbourne institution) and cooks up some of the best food in town. After finding our way to one of the shared tables, my lunch companion and I ordered up with the lovely wait staff. I decided on the Tuna bagel which was packed with mayonnaise and jalapeño’s and may have just finished off my lunch companions salmon and cream cheese bagel. Greedy, I know, but I couldn’t let food that good go to waste.
