Petcube: now you can watch and play with your pet from your smartphone

As a dog owner who misses her pooch terribly when she’s travelling, the Petcube might make things a little easier for me. It’s a gadget that allows you to play, talk to and watch your pet through your smartphone. It’s connected to your home WiFi, and consists of a micro computer, video camera and a laser pointer that you can control and tease your friend with.

It’s pretty cool how you can share the Petcube app with your friends and family, so those without a pet can play with them too. Currently it’s in its developmental phase, but will soon be launched on funding platforms, seeking support to allow its mass production.
