Invisible Picture Show: a powerful animated documentary

We featured the work of London-based film director Tim Travers Hawkins before, and he’s back with another powerful animated documentary, this time looking at the plight of children held in indefinite detention around the world.

Unable to access these sinister facilities, Hawkins built the powerful animation around recorded phone calls with children as young as 7 who have spent much of their young lives in a cell.
