The Living Furniture Project: teaching homeless people to build furniture

Alastair Sloan recently started the Living Furniture Project. Their mission is: ‘Designer furniture, Reclaimed materials, A future for the homeless’. The idea is to get people off the streets of London by teaching them a trade, and helping them rebuild their life. They are supported by a team of volunteers, which include designers and professional craftsman. Moreover, the project use recycled materials, so is sustainable.
