Food with split personalities

Digital artist Bartholomew Cooke has done an extensive amount of work for magazines like Wired, Time and The Atlantic which are so brilliant, we can stare at them for ages. His recent food photography for a feature story in the May issue of Smithsonian magazine includes dual portraits of pickles, pretzels, bananas and fried chicken — almost like these food have split personalities of their own — and they are delicately beautiful.
