Bruno Walpoth carves life-like human sculptures out of wood

Using the most rudimentary of traditional techniques, artist Bruno Walpoth creates incredibly life-like human sculptures out of solid pieces of wood. The fluidity and nuance seems to belong more to a painter than a woodcarver, but having been at it since the early seventies, one can appreciate the level of skill he has managed to accrue.
