This is how wooden cows digest food

This fantastic wooden cow has moving gears, shoots, and ladders to simulate how cows digest food. Commissioned by the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum, the mechanism is made entirely of wood. It’s perfectly interactive and kid friendly. Just place an orange ball in the mouth area and watch as it begins to be processed.

Hey, digestion is probably a bit more complicated than you expected, so next time you enjoy a cool glass of milk, be sure to express extra thankfulness for the cow’s hard work.
