Mexico: it’s not only about beautiful beaches, Speedy Gonzales, and huge sombreros. There are many sides to this magical country most of us will never see because it’s not accessible. So Mexico City-born photographer Carlos Alvarez Montero does a very good job with his photo series’, which explore the relationship between appearance and the creation of identity. His work is very authentic, but at the same time, almost romantic.
