Illustrator Jaime Anderson combines landscapes and patterns to create surreal illustrations where hair becomes rivers, tiny muses lounge on the keys of typewriters, and ice cream cones rain from the sky. Anderson seamlessly transitions between the fanciful and the real, with work providing editorial commentary on issues from technology and relationships, to vaccine use, to warring political parties.

Take a gander at her blog as well to see her process of combining concept, composition, and pattern. Anderson is a Minnesota native who currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.
