Feminist art with a wicked sense of humour by Sarah Maple

Who said feminists don’t have a sense of humour? British artist Sarah Maple is one of the many feminist creatives that debunks this silly myth. In her latest body of work, she creates hilariously perceptive and provocative works that explore the issues of gender roles, rigid beauty standards and the ridiculous attitudes society has towards menstruation. Be sure to check out her previous work also.
