Fanciful illustrations of common objects

One of the most valuable traits of a successful illustrator is to distinguish yourself from the crowd and, along with the luck of having her oh-so-alliterative name, Katrina Kopeloff’s fanciful illustrations are a truly unique take on her common subjects of penguins, hamsters, and creatures of all sorts.

Influenced by illustrator Edward Gorey, Kopeloff’s images remain light and playful while having a shadow of the dark and macabre. In addition, Kopeloff’s penchant for pattern provides swirls and spirals that further draw you into her peculiar and remarkable illustrations.
