Wood lamps that fold like origami

After experimenting with natural wood veneer for many years, Thai product designer and inventor Anurak Suchat has developed the Loop and the Arrow, two origami-like wooden lamps that you can readily fold and unfold to light up rooms and desktops. Each veneer is laminated into three layers, has a 0.48 mm backing and is laser-cut. Tyvek holds all the pieces together. A touch sensor is also attached to the wood for easy activation of on/off modes.
