The first ever website is being rebuilt again

Do you remember the early days of the Worldwide Web? I remember hearing about it and imagining a huge spiderweb that somehow connected the entire earth. Now, a generation that has grown up with the web as a staple of modern life can go back to the very beginning.

In honour of CERN’s 20th anniversary of existence on the web, a team has gathered to rebuild the world’s first website, which will allow the public to experience the web at its most primitive state.
