Think your job is tough? Well, check this out. Lapham’s Quarterly has dug out and organised the world’s worst jobs according to how treacherous, difficult, disgusting and tedious they are. Being a wool fuller in the 12th century seems to be the pits in occupational suffering — imagine being immersed in clay, urine and lime for hours and hours at a time — while we must confess that being a modern-day subway pusher in Tokyo sounds rather fun in a sadistic manner.
