Byron Bay’s Sunski sunglasses: Returning from the dead

Sunski sunglasses were practically an Australian institution, but over time people forgot about them and they were nearly lost to the pages of history. Enter American duo, Tom and Michael – saviours of the Sunski. Three years ago Tom returned from a surfing trip to Australia with a few pairs of the classic sunglasses in his carry-on; unknowingly the last of their kind.

When people began to ask about where he’d bought them and a little research occurred the harrowing discovery was made and Tom and Michael pledged to bring the frames back to life.

Luckily, their recent Kickstarter project reached far beyond their required pledge amount. Now all you have to do is get your hands on a pair of these babies![Follow me on Twitter @cormy96 and Instagram @cormy096]
