Golden Age of Couture meets neoprene diving suits: designs by Luciana Grimaldi

The mastermind behind the fashion label Luciana Grimaldi is the up and coming US-American designer Kellie Lamkin, who studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. After graduating, she moved to Milan to deepen her knowledge at the Politecnico di Milano.

Grimaldi is actually the maiden name of her grandmother, and under that name she designs ‘classic with an urban twist’.

Which really means: the Golden Age of Couture meets neoprene diving suits. The result is really sexy, sporty but elegant collection made out of modern materials. This extraordinary mash-up got her published in various fashion magazines and the online Italian Vouge, as well as showing her collection on the runway at the Politecnico in Milan.
