Plastic World: a new boutique electronic label out of Sydney

Australian electronic music got a kick along this week with the arrival of boutique record label Plastic World, helmed by former Future Classic label man, James McInnes, and Vic Edirisinghe, part owner of cult touring/management group Astral People (the guys behind this little gem), Plastic World is all about pushing forward-thinking Australian music on an international scale. Each release will be pressed on a limited 12” vinyl run and will showcase high-end examples of domestic talent. Keep an eye out for the label’s debut release from Sydney duo Alba (formerly Albatross).
