There is a lot of great collage artwork out there at the moment with artists like Sonya Roy and Julian Pacaud creating wonderful artwork, but there is one guy whose work I really admire and that’s Mario Wagner. The way he composes his artworks using retro images of happily married couples or office drones sitting at desks with their faces blanked out is incredibly inventive and playful.

His colour palette is very sophisticated, playing bright intense colours off against tonal blues and pinks. His series of artworks where all the people in the illustrations are wearing balaclavas is a delight.
