David Bowie was king of dodging stupid questions and traps during interviews. I’ve always admired his insane media skills. When asked if he thought his music was any good, he’d frequently point out that he was actually a painter, not a musician. And guess what? He was telling the truth. Here are a few of his paintings that were featured in November 1998 Bowie fan magazine, Panic In Detroit. I love the dark, moody feel of these loosely painted images. Thank you Ziggy Stardust.
