I’ve been creating illustration for a wide variety of media for many years now. I studied illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK, with the legendary children’s book illustrator Tony Ross as my tutor. After University I moved to live and work in Munich, working exclusively in 3D for clients such as MTV, Swatch & Cosmopolitan etc. Upon my return to the UK in 2002, I decided to get back to basics and start drawing again and re-launch my career using a totally different media. Since 2008, I’ve been working with paint and collage.

My current portfolio is a mix of paint and digital paint techniques; I’m inspired by pop art, fashion illustration and the sunny positive Californian colour palettes circa 1970/80’s. My work develops out of experimentation and sketch book work using paint and collage. This technique allows me to work quickly and spontaneously to tight client deadlines. Clients include Elle, Cosmopolitan, Penguin Books, The Washington Post and many more.
