It’s light for mobility but sturdy to absorb strikes.’ Uh huh, that’s the sales pitch from Joel Toussaint, the California-based guy who has set up a call on Kickstarter to offer samurai armour made from laser-cut aluminum, steel, leather and plastic and is purportedly functional enough to actually protect against direct strikes. You can choose from either Ronin or Shogun armor. Choices!
