Giving unwanted materials a new purpose and shape is the great talent of Sayaka Ganz. Even though she was born in Japan, she lived her life in many different countries, but never forgot her roots and the Japanese Shinto beliefs, which say, „ All objects and organisms have spirits“. Taking that as starting point, her art arises from the passion for fitting odd shapes together and a sympathy toward discarded objects.

All current objects are created from thrift store plastics following the main idea of: If we value our resources we will waste less.
