Amazing outdoor bike-themed art installation in Auckland

This year’s Urbis Designday, Auckland’s premier design event, has yet again produced some of the most authentic and inspiring art installations in the country. One of the most talked about projects on the day was an outdoor art installation spearheaded by Resene and Matter Architects. According to Urbis Magazine, the project spanned the K. Road overbridge and an unused motorway off ramp visible from the bridge. On the ramp the team erected hundreds of bikes in varying Resene shades that looked as if they were racing away from the city.
