New music from the Rice Cultivation Society

Rice Cultivation Society is a band based around songs that I write, with the intention of getting the listener to looks inside themselves and at the strangeness and wonderfulness of life. The subjects of the songs are usually my flights of fancy; being shot into the sun, the lives of ocean creatures, watching circuses on the moon, mythical characters, and so on. Musically, we try and keep it moving, with the harmonies, melodies, guitars, rhythms, interweaving. On recording, we sway and are patient to build, and live we like to rock out.
