Colourful logo made from toothpaste
Melbourne-based Lure Graphics is a graphic design studio with an uncommon approach. Founded by 23-year-old graphic designer Melissa Pepers, their effervescent and successful concepts are inspired by life. The eye-catching logo featured here, designed for vending machine company Candy Solutions, demonstrates Lure Graphics’ avant-garde process. Beginning with handcrafted letterforms created from toothpaste, the company’s monogram is transformed into bold 3D-style candy typography.

What toothpaste? This is just amateur Illustrator work. The best thing about it is that it looks nothing like toothpaste, as it would be a terrible idea for a candy company to remind people to take care of their teeth. I have a feeling this is self-promo…

Hi Tom,
Here is an image revealing some of the process behind this logo:

The logo whilst made from toothpaste, was created to resemble rock candy in the making and has helped the small Melbourne vending machine company grow.
