Proof that dolphins are early adopters of technology

When Vimeo user Mark Peters built a torpedo rig for his GoPro camera and dipped it underwater 20 miles west of Santa Cruz, he didn’t count on a bunch of tech-loving Pacific white sided dolphins to show up next. While there’s been some controversy about whether the footage was CGI-rigged or secretly seeded by GoPro, there’s just no faking just how awesome dolphins are. When they’re not busy calling each other names, they are doing all manners of cool things like staging rescue efforts for fellow dolphins in distress in the waters off South Korea.
