JAWS convertor: Measure your world in sharks

Everything, absolutely everything in the world, is measurable in sharks. It all began when writer-director Kevin Smith proposed in his podcast to visualize distances using sharks as a base unit. Multimedia software developer Matthew Wilber actually went ahead to build the convertor, describing it as ‘best used for measuring the expanse between two travel-able points, such as the distance one must swim to reach the safety of shore while pursued by a man-eating shark’. If you’re curious, 1 JAWS is about 25 feet or 7.5 meters.
