3Doodler: the world’s first 3D Pen
This looks like a whole lot of fun. The 3Doodler lets you draw anything you want, on and off the paper. You can actually draw your creations in the air. Using special technology that allows plastic to be heated and cooled within the pen, the 3Doodler makes it simple for anyone over the age of 12 to create amazing 3D drawings.
So how does it work. Simple (kind of): ‘As 3Doodler draws, it extrudes heated plastic, which quickly cools and solidifies into a strong stable structure. This allows you to build an infinite variety of shapes and items with ease! Most people will instantly be able to trace objects on paper, and after only a few hours of practice you will be able to make far more intricate objects’.
It’s no surprise that on Kickstarter, it’s already raised $1,200,627 pledged of its $30,000 goal.

Hi,
I had two reactions. First reaction – Wow, so cool! Second reaction – disappointment because they’re going to manufacture it in China. With the enormous amount of backing they’re getting why not use it to start a company in the States? Create jobs.
Oh well.
