Filmme Fatales: an Australian zine written by women for women

Have you ever wonder how feminists perceive the portrayal of women in film? Wonder no more! Filmme Fatales is a quarterly zine full of feminist perspectives on the places where film and feminism intertwine. Issue one is based primarily on women in their 20’s and includes a whole bunch of stuff like articles about Brit Marling, Nicole Holofcener’s Walking and Talking, Lena Dunham, Reality Bites, how pornography affects women’s sex lives, Megan Fox and the women in Iranian cinema. It also includes sweet artwork by Valerie Chiang, Kat Phillimore, Anton De Ionno and Emma Do. I know you’re grabbing for your wallet as you read this.
