Gravity defying Japanese artist Hironari Kubota

The gravity defying Japanese artist Hironari Kubota often builds large-scale sculpture designed to spin massive objects in the air. For Studio Kura’s recent Itoshima Arts Farm festival, Kubota created a vast installation for a performance juxtaposing old and new technology by rotating a Mazda automobile with traditional Japanese wood construction.
