Feelytics (stands for feel plus analytics) is a new iPhone app that creates a community for people to talk about their feelings comfortably. The app uses expressive emoticons to help people identify their current emotional state. Once a user picks an emotion, he or she can publish it, either publicly or privately. The app creates a timeline of emotions for this user. Public emotions will be seen by followers, who can give positive feedback. The app also provides an analytical tool to help track how a user’s emotions change over time.
