A recent Groupon deal in Malaysia had unicorn rides going for cheap at just, oh, US$2.9million (RM9million) a pop. The goods are USA-imported unicorns, with optional magic pumpkin carriages or a ‘fairy god mother with up to 5 centuries of experience’. Unfortunately it’s exactly what it smells like: a hoax. Still, the hilarious disclaimer that ‘in the event of bad weather, unicorns will be replaced with party hat-wearing horses’ is giving us ideas for what might just be an extremely lucrative business…
