Anonymous offline peer-to-peer file-sharing initiative

Not sure what we’d do if we were to stumble upon a USB flash drive embedded in a wall in the streets. Essentially an anonymous offline peer-to-peer file-sharing initiative hosted in public spaces, the Dead Drops project is driven by Berlin-based media artist Aram Bartholl who mounts the USB drives empty at the start and lets anyone plug in his or her laptop to share data. Fascinating.
