For her Errors in Production collection, Berlin-based artist Heike Bollig amassed a number of products with individual manufacturing defects. It reminds us of Jeremy Hutchison’s work, with one distinction: while Hutchison deliberately asked factory workers to make defective products, Bollig simply found them, mostly by accident or through sharp-eyed friends and salesclerks. We really like the mangled teeth-shaped marshmallow and the espresso cup with two handles.
