Furniture made from shredded magazines

Elle Décor and Italian designer Jens Praet have teamed up to create a new furniture range made from shredded, recycled magazines. Looking like they are made out of dark stone, the pieces are set in resin and have a wood like solidity. The table, bench, low table and bookcase really do prove what can be done with materials that would otherwise go to landfill. Maybe we will start seeing a lot more of these in the near future.
