Leah Foster makes her delicious installations out of thousands of colorful cupcakes. Some of her cupcake towers are 10ft tall, and Foster original started baking her cupcakes as a means of exploding gender-based body image norms. i don´t know… is difficult to me to see “art” made by food. in my country (and in the whole world) there are a lot of hungry people. i see this amount of food that would be wasted and i can´t enjoy the show.
i´m sure that she is a very good cooker and her cupcakes are pretty for sure, but is it necessary?
