Stanley Pickle: an award-winning short film

Stanley Pickle is a charming and poignant short film directed by Vicky Mather. The film was shot frame-by-frame, utilizing a stop-motion animation technique called pixilation. Stanley Pickle first premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 2010, and has since received 33 international awards. This film does a beautiful job of developing and resolving a narrative of imagination, loneliness, and liberation.
