One of my favorite musical discoveries of the year is this band. They remind me of growing up in the ‘90s and having a secret band you found out about through some photocopied zine or a video clip at the end of a 120 Minutes on an early Sunday morning. I guess the ’90s connection makes sense since Jim Greer used to play bass in Guided By Voices and this is his new gig. Buy the cassette of this album from the fine folks at Burger Records, who deserve a name check all of their own for making tons of very cool cassettes of all kinds of awesomeness available.
