Pictures of mornings spent 3191 miles apart

Two women meet online, become friends, decide to start a project (A Year of Mornings: 3191 Miles Apart) and post a picture from their morning every day for a year. The results are fascinating — next to each other, the pictures form a bigger picture, like a visual dialogue. Stephanie Congdon Barnes and Maria Alexandra Vettese had so much fun, they did the same thing again for another year, this time with evenings instead of mornings. And really, why not?
