Manila-based photographer and visual artist Wawi Navarroza recently exhibited her photography series, Dominion, at the Singapore International Photo Festival. Here, a piece of white cloth both buries and extends itself as part of the photographic landscape, such as gently crashing waves and a roomful of white walls. I love these pictures. There’s so much beauty in them, but there’s also a bit of tension with the cloth appearing to fit in, but never really quite fitting in with its surroundings.
